17.7.2 Logosmas

The Season of Logosmas is celebrated across Achaea and is a time of joy and
gift-giving. Adventurers take great pride in outfitting their cities and homes
with Logosmas wreaths, trees, and other decorations, while the magnanimous dwarf, Ironbeard, is said to bring gifts to lucky adventurers.

EXCEPT!

Ironbeard may have gotten a little drunk and scared off all of his helpers. He needs your help to wrap and send the presents!

During the Festive Event (running through the month of December) you can send anonymous gifts with custom messages to players across all of the Iron Realms games.

- If you send at least one gift during the event, you become eligible to receive gifts from others.
- You can send one gift per real day.
- Each gift costs 5 wrapping papers.
- You can earn up to 10 wrapping papers per real day.

Step 1: How to find wrapping paper

- Wrapping paper is earned via all activities that award renown!

Step 2: Choose a gift type
--------------------------
- View all gift types with:
    FESTIVE CATEGORIES
- Decide which category you want to send, then start your present with: 
    FESTIVE WRAP <category>

Step 3: Add a message
---------------------
- See all message groups:
    FESTIVE MESSAGES
- See messages in a specific group:
    FESTIVE MESSAGES <group>
- Each message has 1 to 3 blanks that you can customise.
- Once you have chosen, select your message with:
    FESTIVE MESSAGE <group> <message>

Step 4: Customise the message

- See available word groups:
    FESTIVE WORDS
- See words in a specific group:
    FESTIVE WORDS <group>
- Fill the blanks in your chosen message with:
    FESTIVE WORD <word> [word 2] [word 3]

Words are inserted into the blanks in order. If your message has fewer blanks than words provided, extra words are ignored. If it has more blanks than words provided, remaining blanks stay empty.

Step 5: Send the present
------------------------
- Check your current present:
    FESTIVE WRAP
- Happy with it? Send the present:
    FESTIVE SEND
- Not happy? Reset and start again:
    FESTIVE RESET
- Want to let fate decide? Randomise parts of your present with:
    FESTIVE RANDOM <ALL|TYPE|MESSAGE|WORDS>

Once sent, 5 wrapping papers are consumed and your anonymous present is added to the pool to be delivered.

Presents are delivered in waves roughly once every hour, and as you all send gifts, you will fill a global "cheer" meter (see FESTIVE STATUS!). Every present nudges it higher, and when it finally hits 100 percent, a notably irascible dwarf will descend upon Sapience, rewarding buffs and renown to anyone who defeats him.

Senders will also earn special milestone rewards as they help Ironbeard with his deliveries, receiving special prizes when they reach 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 presents sent:

   - 1 present: a Logosmas chocolate
   - 3 presents: a promo XP lantern
   - 5 presents: a festive stocking
   - 10 presents: a custom Logosmas hat
   - 15 presents: An orb vision of Ironbeard, including a glass orb filled with writhing smoke if you don't have one
   - 20 presents: a Logosmas sleigh mount
   - 25 presents: an honours line!

Every present you send also grants you a ticket in the Logosmas lottery. At the end of the event, three lucky winners from each world will receive credit prizes:

   - 1st prize: 1000 credits
   - 2nd prize:  500 credits
   - 3rd prize:  250 credits
