12.17.20 Uphimmin

Among the highest reaches of Yggdrasil, above even the Elemental Planes of Mannamot, dwells Uphimmin, home to the Realm of Memory. 

Beyond starlight and darkling heaven, this strange place exists as the focal point of recollection and reminiscence. It is the nexus where all timelines converge; where Aeon's legacy keeps time, and where, thanks to the noble efforts of Scarlatti, the Great Bard, the fringe of memory reinforces the currents of history from the risk of a Second Age of Black Woe. With the destruction of the Golden Chain, the endless road of Memory now lies ready to be walked, allowing all to relive what fragments of the past are still remembered.

Anchoring this ephemerally-charged Tier beneath the ruined Garden of the Gods is the Crown of Uphimmin, a font of timeless mist from which spills the river of memory into the lower reaches of Yggdrasil and into the heart of the Mnemosyne River. 

These tendrils reach across all the lands and worlds of Creation, and allow mortality to tap into echoes of the past and relive ancient history as though they were present in their own bodies.

Most precious of all these are the Memories of the Gods. Visible only at the Crown itself, Divinity Elder, Younger, and even Departed grants insight to those willing to see. 

But Memory comes at a price, and not all the Gods are so willing to part with Their tales.
