19.24.1 Talisman market

The talisman market is a method by which adventurers may sell or auction various talisman pieces. It is worth noting that not all talisman pieces are able to be sold on this market; notably those from the Dragon or Azatlan sets at present.

Selling pieces
-----------------------
There are two ways to sell pieces on the talisman market. The first involves setting pieces to be sold for a set price. When sold in this way, not all pieces must be bought at once; a person can buy any number of the pieces you have put up. To sell pieces in this way, use the command:

TALISMAN MARKET SELL [amount] <piecetype> [LEVEL <level>] <source> <price> [DURATION <duration>]

If you omit the amount and level options, they default to 1. If duration is omitted, it defaults to 12 achaean months.

Use TALISMAN MARKET CANCEL <piece name> to cancel a sale.

Source is where the talisman has come from, either: Questing, Promo, Bashing,
or Foray.

Auctioning pieces
-----------------------
The second way to sell pieces on the market is through an auction. When selling pieces in this way, the pieces you place up for auction are all sold as a single item. The price you specify will be for the entire bundle (rather than on a piece per piece basis as with the former method). To sell pieces in this way, use the command:

TALISMAN AUCTION [amount] <piecetype> [LEVEL <level>] <source> <price> [DURATION <duration>]

As with the basic selling method, if amount or level are omitted, they default
to 1.

Duration defaults to 12 achaean months. Auctioning remains open until the
duration has elapsed, at which point the highest bidder wins. You may not cancel
an auction after you have begun one.

Source is where the talisman has come from, either: Questing, Promo, Bashing,
or Foray.

Buying pieces
-----------------------
To buy pieces outright, use the command:

TALISMAN MARKET BUY <number> <piecetype> [LEVEL <level>] <source> <max price>

If level and amount are omitted, they default to 1.

You will automatically purchase the number of pieces specified at the optimal
possible price (the cheapest available options).

Source is where the talisman has come from, either: Questing, Promo, Bashing,
Refine, or Foray.

Bidding on pieces
-----------------------
You may bid on an active talisman piece auction with the command:

TALISMAN MARKET BID ON <auction ID>

You must bid at least 5% higher than the current bid. It is best to bid the
most you are willing to pay, as your max bid will be recorded and your bid adjusted upward until it reaches that threshold if others bid against you. If
you are outbid, your funds will be returned to you; if you win the auction,
any unused funds (the difference between your max and current bid) will be
returned.

You can see the ID of the various auctions with TALISMAN MARKET LIST
