Three types of ships are currently available to adventurers:

1. The Thalassian Seastrider can be commissioned through Captain
Maelstrom in a hidden port in Tasur'ke.
The cost of a Thalassian seastrider is:
   1,250,000 gold sovereigns, 200 pitch, 400 shipwood, 400 shipiron,
   300 shiplines, and 300 shipcloth.

2. The Windcutter is a smaller, nimbler ship able to turn more
quickly than the Seastrider. This ship has less deck space and a
smaller room for cabin expansions, and a bit less speed running
   before the wind.

For its disadvantages the Windcutter is available for:
   625,000 gold sovereigns, 100 pitch, 200 shipwood, 200 shipiron,
   150 shiplines, 150 shipcloth.
To commission one of these you should seek out Shipwright Hawkins
   in the Eastern Shore.

3. The War Galley is a large ship in all respects that can accommodate
far greater amounts of weaponry, has a higher top speed, and
catches more wind in its sails.
Bring him 2,500,000 gold, 400 pitch, 800 shipwood, 800 shipiron,
600 shiplines, 600 shipcloth and Scurvy Jim at the Port of Mysia
will deliver a ship much stronger than the other available types.

Note: Commodity costs are optional and may be offset by paying extra gold at the harbour in question.
