Commodities
-----------
Iron, silver, gold, platinum, steel, coal, gems, bone, obsidian, stone, wood, cloth, rope, and the like.

They may be found in city commodity shops. These shops may buy or sell, unlike most other types of shops which only sell. The commodity market is where most
commodities can be bought or sold (see HELP COMMODITY MARKET).

Many types of comms may also be produced by players in our Mining system. See HELP MINES for more details. Fibre for cloth and rope, and wood are produced
by players via our Foraging system. See HELP FORAGING for details.

When any commodity is removed from the rift or warehouse, or when purchased from a commodity shop, it will begin to decay. They will last for 8 hours (that's 8 real life hours).

Ship Commodities
----------------
These can be made from regular commodities, or will be awarded when dismantling
ship equipment or ships. These are used to make ship equipment and alter the
appearance of your ship.

Shipcloth - 50x cloth
Shipiron - 50x iron, 10x steel
Shipwood - 50x wood, 10x iron
Shiplines - 50x rope, 10x iron
Pitch - 50x wood, 10x animal fat

Commodities Shops
-----------------
Commodity shops are now mostly defunct, aside from those owned by the cities,
two remain in the lands (Luman village and Zanzibaar isle) and these sell
lacquer.

If lacquer in a shop is sold out, the price will likely get raised when it
is restocked. Similarly, if there is a large surplus, the price will likely
get lowered.
