19.10.23 Legends Deck

The deck of legends is a set of playing cards boasting an array of weird and
wonderful powers. These are obtained via giftbags and other promotional items
and begin life as a simple decorated sleeve which, when unwrapped, reveals the
image of a famous figure from Achaean history. Each card belongs to a specific
suit, and each suit also has a joker card.

Details on the cards, sleeves, and decks are outlined below:

A deck of mystical cards
   - These decks are awarded the first time you UNWRAP a decorated sleeve (see
     below), and are used to store and activate the mystical cards of Achaean 
     legends!
   - LEGENDDECK SHOW to list your deck's contents.
   - LEGENDDECK DRAW <cardname> [target] to activate a card.
   - LEGENDDECK ADD <card> to add a held card to the deck.
   - LEGENDDECK REMOVE <card> to remove a card from the deck.
                              only when the card is fully charged.
                              does not apply to jokers.

A decorated sleeve
   - UNWRAP these sleeves to reveal one of the mystical cards of legends!
   - The sleeves reset until unwrapped and cannot be traded.

A playing card featuring <name>
   - These are the cards obtained from the decorated sleeves.
   - Once unwrapped, cards can be traded in (ARTEFACT <card#> TRADEIN).
   - Alternatively, cards can be traded to players.
   - There are four face cards in each suit, each with a unique effect.
   - Each suit also has a joker card.
   - These Joker cards can be drawn for another card in their suit and they'll 
     add one charge to it (if not already at max).

   - The Tsol'teth Suit (Nemesis collection):

     - 1. Agith'tai:    Grants a defence that lasts 30s which has a chance
                        to give focus afflictions delivered to you to the 
                        attacker as well.
                        3 charges, regenerates one every 2 hours.

     - 2. Agith'maal:   Teleports you to before the ruins of Seleucar from 
                        anywhere on the Prime Material Plane (not on a ship). 
                        Blocked by monolith.
                        Not functional from outer islands.
                        2 charges, regenerates 1 per hour. 

     - 3. Ama-maalier:  Make yourself immovable for 10 seconds (including by 
                        yourself).
                        3 charges, regenerates 1 per hour.

     - 4. Parni:        Give hatred affliction lasting 20 seconds to a target.
                        3 charges, regenerates 1 per hour. 

     - (J) Ithin'urai:  Regenerates 1 charge every 12 hours.


   - The Seleucarian Suit (Salvation collection):

     - 5. Severian:     Gives the steelmind defence to all mutual allies that
                        stand in your location.
                        5 charges, regenerates 1 per hour. 

     - 6. Lucaine:      Gives you the trueblind affliction for 20 seconds. 
                        Also gives you significant bleeding on a periodic tick 
                        while under such blindness.
                        3 charges, regenerates 1 per hour. 

     - 7. Catarin:      Heal the health of everyone in your location.
                        5 charges, regenerates 1 per hour. 
                        Does not heal yourself, and has a mana cost.

     - 8. Nicator:      Grants a 30% experience boost to all groups led by you. 
                        The defence lasts 30 minutes.
                        5 charges, regenerates 1 per hour. 

    - (J) Mycale:       Regenerates 1 charge every 12 hours.
 

   - The Saviours Suit (Salvation collection):
     
     - 9. Yudhishthira: Melt an icewall in a direction. 1 second balance.
                        4 charges, regenerates 1 per hour. 

     - 10. Matic:       Your next attack will guaranteed to be a high end crit.
                        3 charges, regenerates 1 per hour. 

     - 11. Ashaxei:     Travel to a mutual ally (not on a ship) but on any 
                        plane. Stopped by monolith on either end.
                        1 charge, regenerates every 8 hours.

     - 12. Sycaerunax:  DRAGONFORM ONLY
                        On dying via any means, you will be fully restored and 
                        fight on for another 10 seconds.
                        After that 10 seconds ends, you will immediately die  
                        and embrace death.
                        3 charges, regenerates 1 per hour.  

    - (J) Alcibiades:   Regenerates 1 charge every 24 hours 

   - The Betrayed and Betrayers Suit (Nemesis collection):

     - 13. Slith:       Stun all souls in room for 15 seconds.
                        A soul stunned in this way has a short immunity after 
                        being unstunned before they may be stunned again.
                        3 charges, regenerates 1 per hour.  

     - 14. Pazuzu:      Summon a blood rain with similar effects to a 
                        stormfront, preventing magical travel into the location 
                        from more than one room away.
                        Lasts 1 minute.
                        3 charges, regenerates 1 per hour. 

     - 15. Enheduanna:  Target a corpse, destroying it and dealing massive mana 
                        damage to the originator of said corpse if they are 
                        currently a soul.
                        5 charges, regenerates 1 per hour. 

     - 16. Ugrach:      Determine roughly where someone who has embraced death 
                        is in the death sequence.
                        Infinite charges.

    - (J) Han-Silnar:   Regenerates 1 charge every 12 hours.

   - The Islanders Suit (Nemesis collection):
    
    - 17. Lordan:       Draw this card while aboard a ship and your vessel
                        shall gain a bonus to both its ability to plunder 
                        and its ability to resist the plundering of enemy 
                        pirates for 20 minutes.

    - 18. Yuthka:       Draw this card for someone in the local area and you 
                        will turn into a meteor arrow, soaring through the
                        sky to strike down your target.
                        You will soar to a room in the sky before falling 
                        down onto your target, if they are outdoors and in
                        your area, flying into them with all the effects of a 
                        meteor arrow!
                        If you cannot reach your target, you will fall back 
                        to the room you left from, and you may also be pulled 
                        down from this room by use of the tentacle tattoo 
                        or similar effects.
                        4 charges, regenerates 1 per hour.  

    - 19. Arsentar:     Draw this card for an unfortunate soul and if that 
                        person dies in the next 12 seconds, you will gain a 
                        large amount of your health back.
                        2 charges, regenerates 1 per hour. 

    - 20. Trixy:        Syntax: LDECK DRAW TRIXY WITH <#> GOLD ON 
                        <RED|BLACK>|boldwhite
                        If you wager your gold on red, you will be 
                        transported to the roulette table in Mysia.
                        If you wager your gold on black, you will be
                        transported to the roulette table in New Thera.
                        There is no minimum on this wager, and usual maximums 
                        apply.
                        This will require full health and mana, and respects 
                        all normal hinder.
                        Upon arriving at your destination, you will find 
                        yourself richer or poorer! Good luck!
                        You do not have to be at a roulette table to use this 
                        card, but you do have to be on the same plane and not
                        on outer islands.
                        3 charges, regenerates 1 per hour.

    - (J) Vultubus:     Regenerates 1 charge every 12 hours.

    - The Ancients Suit (Historical collection):

    - 21. Vellis:       DRAWing this card will pull people down from trees
                        or flying elevation!
                        This card has 4 charges and recovers 1 per hour.

    - 22. Black Boar:   DRAW this card to give everyone in your group 
                        (including yourself) level 3 health regeneration!
                        You must be the leader of the group when you draw 
                        this card.
                        Duration of regeneration will be between 3-5 minutes.
                        This overrides other forms of levelled health 
                        regeneration.
                        This card has 2 charges and recovers 1 every 2 hours.

    - 23. Seasone:      DRAW this card FOR ELIXIR or FOR POISON
                        Poison will hit everyone in the room with two
                        doses of loki. This includes yourself.
                        Elixir boosts your health elixir's effectiveness by
                        10% for 5 minutes.
                        This card has 3 charges and recovers 1 per hour.

    - 24. Rurin:        DRAW this card to restock a denizen shop to maximum 
                        capacity!
                        This only works for shops where you use WARES not
                        ASK <denizen> WARES.
                        This card does not affect the Itinerant Bazaar or 
                        commodity shops.
                        This card has 1 charge and will recover it 2 hours
                        after use.

    - (J) A Sheep:      The Sheep card boosts the charges and reduces the 
                        cooldowns of the cards in this suit!

    - The Originals Suit (Historical Collection):

    - 25. Haidion:     When drawing this card against a target, their celerity 
                       will be locked to your own. This essentially means that 
                       however fast you move, that person also moves at that 
                       same speed. 
                       Lasts between two and five minutes. Three charges.

    - 26. Maran:       When drawing this card, you will create a barrier in 
                       the location that lasts for 1 minute. This barrier has 
                       5000 health and will absorb 25% of all damage on anyone 
                       in the room (including your enemies). When it runs out 
                       of health or the timer expires, the barrier disappears. 
                       There is a cooldown on a room before this may be cast 
                       again.
                       If the caster isn't alive and present the barrier will 
                       fail. 
                       Unblockable damage bypasses the barrier, as do very large 
                       damage hits (essentially, this means it will not function 
                       against finishers).

    - 27. Covenant:    By drawing this card, you may inflict a special 
                       battlerage attack against a target, delivering the
                       CHARMED status half of the time and the RECKLESS
                       status the other half. Three charges.

    - 28. Aringar:     You may draw this card to strip the shield from a target 
                       in your line of sight. Four charges.

    - (J) Harlequin:   Regenerates 1 charge every 12 hours.

    - The Impudent Suit (Renowned collection):

    - 29. Maklak:      Summon an icewall in line of sight
                       LDECK DRAW MAKLAK NE 2 places an icewall 2 rooms to the
                       northeast.
                       4 charges, regenerates one per hour.

    - 30. Xylthus:     Bind a denizen in a similar manner to a battlerage stun.
                       LDECK DRAW XYLTHUS <target>
                       3 charges, regenerates one per hour.
                       Not effective on "boss" level enemies.

    - 31. Morimbuul:   Shrug off denizen ropes or bindings for five minutes.
                       3 charges, regenerates one per hour.

    - 32. Zh'risia:    Draw this card and all present will be set ablaze. 
                       3 charges, regenerates one per hour.

    - (J) Hycanthus:   Refreshes charges of the others in the suit.
                       Regenerates 1 charge every 12 hours.
 
    - The Aesthetes Suit (Renowned collection):

    - 33. Murad:       Use your name as a forging descriptor!
                       For example, "Makarios's venomous lash", or "Nicola's
                       spiked platemail".
                       Each charge represents a name use.
                       1 charge, regenerates one per hour.

    - 34. Bakios:      Drawing this card will confer a random flask effect upon
                       the user. 
                       3 charges, regenerates one per hour.

    - 35. Maim:        Create a miniature sculpture of another player.
                       LDECK DRAW MAIM <target>
                       Sculpture lasts 30 minutes.
                       BREAK SCULPTURE to travel to the player depicted.
                       Travel is prevented by monolith sigils.
                       3 charges, regenerates one per hour.

    - 36. Reinhold:    Draw this card to produce a random food item from the 
                       NDS cooking list! 
                       4 charges, regenerates one per hour.

    - (J) Makesh:      Refreshes charges of the others in the suit.
                       Regenerates 1 charge every 12 hours. 

    - The Intrepid Suit (Renowned collection):

    - 37. Horald:      Have a chance to reduce your next ship weapon fire
                       balance by 20%. 
                       This fades after 3 successful firing reductions. 
                       3 charges, regenerates one per hour.

    - 38. Icosse:      Draw this card to gain a reflection! 
                       3 charges, regenerates one per hour.

    - 39. Aran'Kesh:   Draw this card to summon a vulture nest. 
                       The nest can hold up to 10 unique items.
                       SHAKE nest to send it away. 
                       Nest will never decay or resets and will always be safe.
                       Nest will not preserve any item within, commodities 
                       will decay.
                       3 charges, regenerates one per hour.

    - 40. Vulkuz:      Place a random trap in the location.
                       Clothesline, horseshoe, or noose. 
                       This trap will target your enemies.
                       This trap cannot be dismantled.
                       2 charges, regenerates one per hour.

    - (J) Boulder:     Refreshes charges of the others in the suit.
                       Regenerates 1 charge every 12 hours.

    - The Lovers Suit:

   - 41. Rudolpho:    Draw this card to bring about a stuttering effect 
                      to the current location.
                      This lasts for approximately one minute.
                      Says, tells, and shouts are affected.
                      This includes effects like raido and wings but
                      does NOT prevent Call for Help.
                      2 charges, regenerates one per hour.

   - 42. Camilla:     Draw this card and all mutual allies present
                      will immediately begin following you.
                      4 charges, regenerates one per hour.

   - 43. Anna:        Draw this card and your current room becomes private
                      for one minute. 
                      1 charge, regenerates one every five hours.

   - 44. Travian:     Draw this card against a target and both of you
                      will gain the lusted status with each other.
                      3 charges, regenerates one per hour

    - (J) Maros:      Refreshes charges of the others in the suit.
                      Regenerates 1 charge every 12 hours.


   - The Estranged Suit:

   - 45. Maya:       Draw this card and the next tattoo the user receives,
                     whether inked by themselves or another, via any means,
                     will complete instantly.
                     NOTE: This does not work with starburst tattoos.
                     The tattoo must be inked within one hour of the card use.
                     3 charges, regenerates one every hour.

   - 46. Belladona:  To use this card, simply DRAW <card> <recipient>, and
                     if you are standing inside a postal office, you may
                     request the return of any letter or parcel that you
                     regret having sent to them, provided the recipient
                     has not yet received it.
                     2 charges, regenerates one every hour.

   - 47. Zsarachnor: Draw this card against a target while specifying the name
                     of another adventurer, and the target will consider that
                     person as a personal enemy for 30 seconds.
                     e.g DRAW ZSARACHNOR NICOLA ICTINUS and Nicola will
                     enemy Ictinus.
                     They will betray even against a former ally, and will
                     be unable to unenemy the adventurer for the duration, 
                     after which their allegiance will return to its 
                     previous state. 
                     The target adventurer must be in the room with you - the 
                     adventurer you wish them to enemy need not be.
                     2 charges, regenerates one every 2 hours.

   - 48. The Horror: Draw this card against a target and your name will shrink
                     from their lips and mind. 
                     For one Achaean month, the target will be unable to speak 
                     your name aloud. 
                     For half an Achaean day, they will be unable to recall 
                     your name to communicate it telepathically as well. You 
                     need not be in the room with the target, though you may 
                     only affect one target at a time.
                     1 charge, regenerates one every 30 hours.

    - (J) Sallust:   Refreshes charges of the others in the suit.
                     Regenerates 1 charge every 12 hours.

   - The Animals Suit (Historical Collection)

   - 49. Patches:    LDECK DRAW PATCHES <target>
                     Inflicts 30 seconds of no waterwalk enchantments or
                     water weird defences.
                     Other methods of crossing water function as normal.
                     2 charges, regenerates one per hour.

   - 50. Scorn:      DRAW this card in a direction, and be informed of all who
                     stand in the target room's area, whether your own or
                     another area. 
                     This card shares the same limitations as fullsense.
                     Incurs a one second balance loss.
                     8 charges, regenerates one per hour.
   
   - 51. Grimlath:   DRAW this card and benefit from the PACING defence for
                     a period of two minutes.
                     5 charges, regenerates one per hour.

   - 52. Chenubis:   DRAW this card and be transported to the peak of
                     Mount Nicator.
                     You must be on the Prime Material Plane and Continent 
                     of Sapience.
                     Travel is blocked by monolith and has similar health
                     and mana requirements to the Agith'maal card.
                     Using this card incurs a 2 second balance cost.
                     2 charges, regenerates one per hour.

   - (J) Penelope:   Refreshes charges of the others in the suit.
                     Regenerates 1 charge every 12 hours.

   - The Scrappers Suit

   - 53. Jovan:      DRAW this card and be informed of all infamous characters
                     currently in the realms, including their level of infamy.
                     5 charges, regenerates one per hour.

   - 54. Elma:       LDECK DRAW ELMA <scrapper> and reset the cooldown on
                     that scrapper's ability to consume treats.
                     1 charge, regenerates one every 24 hours.

   - 55. Wavel:      DRAW this card against a target, and you will call upon
                     the Chief Inspector's deductive skills to persistently
                     locate them.
                     This ticks every 8 seconds for 72 seconds (9 times in 
                     total), and will
                     passively farsee the target in each case with unique
                     flavour.
                     The limitations on this card are identical to the
                     FARSEE ability, and it respects effects that improve it.
                     4 charges, regenerates one per hour.

   - 56. Yozhik:     DRAW this card in a direction to create a thornwall!
                     The wall of thorns deals damage and some bleeding when 
                     passed through.
                     This respects the presence of all other wall types and
                     will not stack with them.
                     3 charges, regenerates one per hour.
