8.3.3 Dictatorship - a House Government Form

In a Dictatorship, a single leader holds office until the end of a definite
term (which could be quite long), or until the successor comes to power when
either the Dictator steps down or does not respond to a challenge by the
designated successor.

Few things limit the power of the Dictator. Among these is:
1) the dictator exercises no power until a successor is designated,
except the power to designate a successor.
2) the dictator's term may be long, but must still be finite.
3) the dictator must respond to all challenges by the successor. If
the dictator does not respond, or if the dictator surrenders to
the challenge, then the successor takes power (see HELP CHALLENGE).

Limits on Return to Office
--------------------------
Once the dictator leaves office, he may not contest for, nor hold the
position again until at least two other people, not himself, hold it.

Powers
------
The dictator makes all appointments, chooses the House Patron,
and wields all powers not otherwise delegated to appointees or aides.
