13.7.8 Curing Scenarios

A curing scenario watches for a situation you describe, such as having paralysis and asthma while off herb balance. When the situation starts, the scenario runs a CURING command for you. When it ends, the scenario can run another command to put things back. Type CURING SCENARIO to see how to set one up.

A scenario's command is what you would type after CURING. You can join up to five commands with a "/", and they run in order. Scenarios are checked after the rest of your curing has run, so a change made by a scenario usually applies from your next cure onwards.

Conditions are afflictions separated by spaces. Join afflictions with a slash when any one of them will do. Add a number to a stacking affliction to need at least that many stacks, so burning3 means three or more stacks of burning. You can also require a minimum number of afflictions with AFFCOUNT, or being off a curing balance with NOBAL.

Example: prioritise slickness while you have paralysis, asthma and slickness, along with either clumsiness or weariness.

Example: prioritise sipping mana over health while you have guilt.

Example: add tree to your queue while you have asthma, clumsiness and weariness, and take it back out once you don't.

A scenario must be disabled before you change it.

You can have up to 20 scenarios. Between them, your enabled scenarios can look for 15 afflictions, with at most 10 in a single scenario.

With CURING REPORTING ON, you will see a message whenever one of your scenarios starts or ends.
