removing this cancer from our midst.

Lord Aegis,
I speak with all respect about the recent actions of Ashtan, and their
plans to forcibly remove our patron, and replace Lord Sartan, with
yourself.
While I respect you, my devotion is to Lord Sartan, as is the entire
guilds. Ashtan might try to convince herself otherwise, but this
religious cleansing they are proposing reminds me of recent actions of
the church.
I would hope you do not consider this guild a cancer, as you posted. It
is my feeling this is one of the few guilds in the land that still
strive for honour. Yes we do not always achieve it, but we strive for it
and thats what is important.
I do not like seeing this guild likened to a disease, nor do I like the
sort of religious persection and seclusion now taking place, since your
recent wife dissolved the Ashtan council and took direct controll of
city matters.
All I see lately is Lady Eris, and the leaders of Ashtan driving away a
guild that has served Ashtan proud for many many years, and I think this
is the cancer you should seek to remove.
