Immortal Growth and Change

I feel that the mortals have been long enough silent in responding
to the requests of the Dark Father. I will not speak of many of His
own admissions, or His own story much, and I feel I will respond to
the first set of questions He posed.

"Do the Gods grow? Do the Gods change? Do the Gods mature? Or are We
stagnant and immutable beings doomed to forever be the same? Were We
created perfect? Were We created omniscient? Omnipresent? Omnipotent?"

The conjectures in this scroll are just personal thoughts which may
or may not be true, I am not trying to blashphem or anger anyone,
just to perhaps give another beings perspective on a problem, or even
a question that was posed by a God, which I am sure is in every mind
that is sentient on Achaea.

Let us take the Creation Mythos into mind, remember when Ayar grew
restless with his Omnicience and Omnipotence? I feel that when De
created the Elder Gods, and split Proteus off from Himself He was
trying to solve a problem. This problem is pretty basic, but many
may not be able to grasp it. I am asking those with experiance on
near, if not total, Omnicicene and Omnipotence to perhaps lend a
perspective here later.

Lets assume that Ayar wished to change, and wanted to grow more,
even perhaps to mature into a greater being. Perhaps not more
powerful, or more knowing, but dare I say more wise? Proteus did
experiance things on a more limited scope than Ayar, and then did
live through the Great War of Creation. If one remembers the Mythos
well they also know that Ayar felt that it was time to show all that
Proteus and Him were one in the same, and then to recombine. I do
feel that this was not due to guilt, or to punish Proteus, but to
help Ayar grow. Sarapis was then created, and I feel that Sarapis
is in fact Wiser than Ayar, from the experiances of Proteus, those
experiances of fear when backed against a wall in the fighting, and
the experiances of mercy shown to the enemies when it was over.
Those made Sarapis much more wise, and more powerful in a differant
way than perhaps Ayar was before Him.

So, with this thought one needs to see what changed. I feel that
this change was caused by limited Omnicience and Omnipotence, and
that all of the Elder Gods have it, in some form. If not they
would grow bored and wither away. If not they would know exactly
everything which will happen, and never be suprised by eachothers
plotting or actions.

I know that to some the thought of the Gods not being totally all
powerful is blasphemus, but I really feel that it is such a small
measure down from those forbiding infinate words, omnicience and
omnipotence. I know they are exponentially more powerful than any
mortal, and perhaps more so than all mortals combined, but I was
answering one that was questioning Himself, and I sincerly hope
that my musings have help Him, and perhaps any other beings that
have asked themselves that question. I would love further debate
or comments on this, I could revise my opinion if the argument
or perspective was well enough thought.
