I think it all holds well, what you've said so far, about Dalamar not being a member of the Church yet at the same time his not being excommunicated. Yet, you say that his devotion still holds true, that is why he hasn't been stripped of it. Well then, for the sake of argument, how can one devote themselves to something they're not a part of? How is one devout when one breaks the rules? Devotion, from the little I know of the ecclesiastic ways, is not another word for faith. Dalamar may still have faith in the church, but does he truly devote himself to it? Just a few of the questions that come to my mind, hope you don't mind my curiosity.

Torgum

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Phaestian, in the year 237 AF.
