My ship is perpetually in need of a helmsman and I may in fact have found one. But I think he might be lying about his credentials. Seems lost all the time, scanning the horizon but doesn't know where he's headed. Also he's a bit hard of hearing despite epidermal, despite mindseye, and I've even tried that earring but no good. Also keeps talking in poetry, very flowery. That last part is actually part of the charm.
So I'm looking to hear a bit of his background from vessels he may have worked on. He won't give me his employers' names, often insists he doesn't even know your real name, but he has fondly mentioned one. As mentioned, he really likes poetry which makes him kind of glib about the name but the imagery suggests it involves crashing waves and forgetting. Sadly, it was all metaphor because that's how poets are.
If this sounds like one of your staff, I would appreciate you reaching out to me. Any background information I could get would be quite helpful, else I fear he might end up getting pyred.
Er, sorry, I mean fired.
Anyway,I very much want to prevent that. Prompt attention would be appreciated.
