of course

Kasotus,

my heart and thoughts go out to you, as well. I have also not known you for a long time, either, I met you in your capacity as Senator of Cyrene, and was very impressed by your conduct and professionalism.

The past year has flown by in a speed that has left me quite overwhelmed. I saw you, suddenly no longer Senator, but still citizen of Cyrene, also being killed repeatedly by what appeared as cloaked figures, and then even learned that your head had been piked above the entrance of Cyrene's Imperial Palace, looking to have been preserved in salt.

I asked you what was happening, but you chose to not share, with me, a rogue stranger. Very understandable. I think this was due to your loyalty to Cyrene. When I complained about the current complexities of the present, you did not join. When I mourned the past, you did not join. When I shared my sadness about not being capable enough to offer any help, you told me not to worry.

Please continue to breathe.

Best wishes,
Laras
