This past year has kept us all busier than ever, and I want to thank everyone who has come to celebrate our history and traditions together as a part of these Seleucarian Games! But in everything going on, I think that many people have missed our last, and I honestly believe best, Championship Event of these games. Now that the tide is clear and those of us who held it back are once again free, I want to re-announce this last event, to give everyone a chance to take part in this unique experience.

And so, our final Championship Event, The Path to Seleucar:

The Path to Seleucar is our fifth and last championship event, that celebrates the legendary journey taken by Nikolas and Severian, as they pursued the vision that would become Seleucar. This event is being organised and ran by the Asterian Restoration, and the full post on the event can be found in public news 20450.

Those who take part in the Path to Seleucar will follow the physical route that Nikolas and Severian took as they founded the empire, walking in the footsteps of those legendary figures. Your journey will be guided by a series of posters that will explain the importance of each location, and provide clues to finding the next. At the bottom of each poster will be a set of questions, which you will answer to get your final score.

To begin, simply go to New Thera, where it all began, and find the poster there. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to take part in this journey in the last few months of these games.

And for those of you who don't feel like they know their history, and so won't be able to take part and compete, remember that this is an event where learning and exploring is as important as knowing. You'll have the time you need to work out the answers, making this a great chance to learn something about our shared history, and the legacies that shape these realms even today.

We will be taking submissions for this event for about three more months, through the 25th of Valunary of 803. With the tide gone, this should give anyone interested a good bit of time to finish walking the Path, and to get your submissions in! All finished quiz submissions should be sent to Jurixe, to be entered into the overall contest.

First, all those who take part in the Path to Seleucar will receive a medallion celebrating these games! This is your last chance to earn one, so if you were interested, now is the time to get involved!

And since the Path to Seleucar is one of our championship evnets, there are credit and points prizes as normal:

1st place will win 100 credits, 12 championship points
2nd place will win 50 credits and 10 championship points
3rd place will win 40 credits and 8 championship points
4th place will win 30 credits and 6 championship points
5th place will win 20 credits and 5 championship points
6th place will win 10 credits and 4 championship points
7th place will win 10 credits and 3 championship points
8th place will win 10 credits and 2 championship points
9th place will win 10 credits and 1 championship points
10th place will win 10 credits and .5 championship points

There will be prizes for the top five overall places in these games, and this game will mark the last chance to earn championship points to compete for them! Compete for credits, prizes and glory in this last championship event of the Seleucarian Games!
