The Path to Seleucar

Hail, Sapience.

Mighty Seleucar was not a kingdom that arose, fully formed, overnight. Before Nicator was Nicator, he was an ordinary man named Nikolas with a dream. That dream was Seleucar, and it was only realised through his conviction and perseverance.

In honour of his legendary journey, the Asterian Restoration has created the Path to Seleucar. It is a guided route that follows, as closely as possible, the original path that Nikolas and Severian took as they brought Seleucar into being. Markers explain the significance of each location as adventurers follow the way.

The Path is open to all who wish to follow. It will take you across the continents of both Sapience and Meropis, and will not require you to enter any cities, but may pass close to their gates.

Those who wish to better their Seleucarian Games standings, or who simply wish to test their knowledge of Seleucarian history and geography, are encouraged to attempt to answer the questions under each Path marker. As with any Games event, the top finishers will receive monetary and commemorative rewards, as well as Games points that will count towards their cumulative total.

Intrepid adventurers should start their expedition in the town of Thera, where it all began. Every poster contains a clue as to the location of the next, and all contain questions relevant to their content.

Complete quiz submissions may be sent to myself and will be entertained until 25 Mayan 802AF. The Path to Seleucar, however, endures.

Further questions may be directed to myself.
