Shrines

Dear warring factions,
I offer a very simple proposal. I am a priest, a proud and happy member of a glorious guild. I also happen to walk with divine grace at the moment.
I do not want to comment on the ethics of shrines in Ashtan. I can see why both sides would argue that they should or should not be there.
However, I write this in the spirit of truth. As Isildur's post says, there is disagreement over whether the shrines over which we fight this war are there or not.
So, citizens of Ashtan, I make this offer. I would like to be told or messaged whenever you find a shrine in Ashtan. I will come and observe it. This way I can be an impartial observer. There is no reason for me to attack you in Ashtan, and my grace protects me from harm. Thus I can witness the shrines' existence or non existence, and we can get on with peace.
I reiterate that I do not mean to say that there should or should not be shrines in Ashtan, only that I offer myself as one who can determine of all if they are there or not.
I am not powerful. I am no threat to you, and there is no reason for me to lie. I would ask that you do not defile the shrine in my presence, but that is all.
And, to Isildur, I know I am grateful for the highways, and I expect evryone else is too.
Walk in Peace.

Penned by my hand on the 13th of Lupar, in the year 218 AF.
