To those interested parties:

I feel it is necessary, given such recent events and the impending end
of such, to remind the world of Cyrene's place. We are a city that, when
re-founded by the great Lady Czanthria Zuiho_sho, was tasked with the
responsibility of maintaining a core alignment of neutral-good. Cyrene
is not morally neutral. We do not endorse nor advance the causes of
darkness, chaos or evil. We do not seek a balance between good and evil
nor does "anything go." Ideally, our neutrality would be that of
political neutrality. I can only say ideally because, truly, that is
nearly impossible in this day and age.

Being that Cyrene's morals do lean toward good, she will always have
some tie with the city of Light. Considering Cyrene was founded as a
place of refuge from Shallam's battles, while we respect their ideals on
the subject of Good versus Evil, we will never accept them as our own.

Such a message is being presented at this time as part of negotiations
of cease-fire with the Bastion. This does not in any way, shape or form
negate the long standing friendship that Cyrene has had with Shallam.
Cyrene will forever be nearby to stand and help defend Shallam.
