Zulah,

Just as you have requested, so will I act. I did not hesitate to strike
from the shadows and kill you immediately after your grace fell after
your spar, nor do I deny that that was dishonorable, dirty and low. It
seems I was mistaken when I judged you as the type to flee when your
death is near, as you have shown by being willing to die five times, and
then challenge me more.

You say that you will kill my wife to get back at me, no matter the
cost, no matter the consequences, no matter what happens to you. We all
do what we must, but I do not endanger my beloved's life. I can show
humility for her sake. I do understand how devoted you are, but I don't
think you understand how devoted I am. I will not leave her side so long
as she is in danger, and you will live a life of failure if you devote
yourself to trying to kill her.

Words were said in anger and haste, words that at the very least I, if
not you, did not mean. If you wish for a more reasonable way to reclaim
your pride, one that will not have a flowery end, I am listening. Know
that should you devote yourself to killing my reason for breathing, the
consequences will be much worse for you than for anyone else. Some
things can be recovered. Some can not.

It's your move.
