Now that my relationship with both Mhaldor and Shallam are on less than
favorable terms, I've been forced to find a new occupation. I've used
the Market channel before and the results of my advertisements have
always exceeded mortal expectations. With that in mind, I've decided to
offer myself to Sapience as a spokesperson for any up-and-coming (no
pun intended) new business ventures.

Today's opportunity for a new and exciting lifestyle comes to you from
the Heart of the Vashnars, where a couple of fun-loving 50-somethings
have decided to mix things up a little and start a clan for people like
them. Exorim's a little short on gold (as evidenced by his lack of
enthusiasm for paying me off) and so he's in the need of a few business
partners! They're also in the need of a headquarters, as Faede's house
in the Cyrenian subdivision just won't survive a massive influx (pun
intended) of new members!

And now, for your bedtime reading, an excerpt from their clan charter.
Some obvious areas have been edited by me.

RULES:
1. This is a private clan, and as such our actions will be kept private.
Under no circumstances should there be any public mention of the clan or
its activities, or the activities of individual members. If you want to
put word out about your own personal depravity, make sure it doesn't
even suggest at the involvement of any other member of the clan. Don't
advertise. Also, if anybody approaches you about the clan, don't share
any information. If anybody approaches you seeking membership, pass the
name to one of the clan's recruitment officers. This clan is private for
a reason, so let's keep it that way.

2. Regular Achaean politics have no place here. If your House or city
alignment influences you enough that you can't at the very least get
along nicely with all other members of this clan, politely excuse
yourself from the clan to avoid unnecessary drama and/or confrontation.
That being said, any involvement between individual members of this clan
should be intelligently monitored. Under no circumstances will
subversive behavior (i.e. giving away city or House secrets to clan
friends who mean harm to said city or House) be tolerated. If it is
found that any harm came to any person due to this clan, the offenders
will be immediately and permanently removed. In short, act intelligently
and maturely regarding your non-clan alignments.

3. Respect every other clan member's comfort zone at all times. This
clan is meant for exploration and fun. At no point should anything be
forced onto a person who is not fully willing to receive it. Intentional
violation of any other person's comfort zone will not be tolerated.
Keeping that in mind, any and all limits should be made abundantly clear
before any questionable activities take place. If any new ones are
discovered, those should be immediately pointed out as well. With this
in mind, rape is strictly forbidden except in the context of very
private, very controlled play between completely consenting parties. If
death ever comes into the equation, under no circumstances will 'actual'
harm come to anybody involved. This should go without saying.

5. Given the activities we're supposedly to be indulging in, every
member of the clan will be expected to act like a mature, reasonable
adult at all times. Jealousy, possessiveness, tantrums, anger, etc. will
not be tolerated in regards to any of those aforementioned supposed
activities. Expect polyamory, expect groups, expect a lot of things that
you might not be directly involved in. Just don't get greedy or jealous.
Exceptions will only be made in the case of explicit agreements between
individuals.

6. Don't try to ruin relationships to serve your own desires, whether
inside the clan or outside the clan. If somebody wants to interact with
this clan and a relationship they are currently involved with
interferes, that is their own matter to resolve. Attempting to sabotage
any relationship for any reason will not be tolerated.

7. Insanity: If you're going to go insane, do it as sparingly as you
possibly can, and only between individuals when absolutely necessary.
Not counting whatever fetishes or experimentation may occur, this clan
should be kept as sane as possible. Read HELP INSANITY if you need a
reminder on the subject. A similar policy will be held for members whose
souls jump between multiple bodies. If you do it, it's not a problem.
Just don't go telling us about it, and try to be as subtle about it as
you can (also consider rule 10; for these reasons, it is encouraged that
members not make new bodies just for the sake of this clan or this
clan's activities, and it is also encouraged that members who have
already done this consider their older bodies for membership instead -
remember, this clan is private, and according to the rules nobody here
is judging you or interfering with your life). Also, keep Achaean
relationships within Achaea. Obviously, nobody but you will be
accountable for whatever may come of breaking this rule. Share
information about yourself outside of Achaea with people inside of
Achaea at your own risk, and if you choose to do so, do so very
carefully.

8. Do not interact in any peculiar way with denizens or special mounts.
Doing so will quickly draw the attention of the divine, which we
certainly don't need. Likewise, try not to mention any divine by name
shortly before, after, or during lewdness, as this will also draw
unneeded attention.

9. [This rule contained too much insanity for me to keep it in its
original form. However, let's just say that these playful swingers want
you to know what you're doing under the sheets.]
10. Do not 'play' in public areas if you can help it. There are
individuals out there who look for and spy on people who indulge in the
sorts of things this clan was made for. If you have any means of
checking for phased, ghosted, hidden, etc. people, use those before
proceeding to a private place to enjoy yourselves. Sometimes it can't be
helped, but you should always do your best to make sure you don't have
an unintended audience. That being said, there are certain things that
these voyeurs look out for. Standing in a high-traffic spot for long
periods of time, walking around with an obviously provocative appearance
(or naked, or both), maintaining newbie status past the age of 20
(especially having a 0% might, pardon momentary insanity), remaining
Houseless and cityless, and so forth are all things that they look out
for. It is also likely that a voyeur who spies on you once will try to
spy on you again. It may even be possible that things you've done in the
past have earned you a reputation, which will also be a large draw to
spies. Always exercise caution.

EVENTS:

Auctions:
Put individual clan members on auction, the highest bidder gets the
prize all to themselves to do whatever they wish for a whole month (not
including the limits set by the prize) during a mutually advantageous
timeframe.

[Word for the things your parents do when you're not around!]-a-thons:
Members may enter into the contest; from the beginning of the first day
of a month to the beginning of the first day of the next month, the
event will be in play. Contestants have sex with whomever they wish (as
long as the other party is willing), in whatever way they wish (ditto).
Each encounter will get that contestant a point. Partners will only
count for a single point during the duration of an event (repeated sex
with one person still only counts for one point). Points can be tracked
via the partner sending a message to the contest host indicating that
the contestant had sex with them. At the end of the contest, whoever has
the most points will get a reward, in the form of gold or a credit or
some such, or bragging rights, or it all could just be for fun.

[Personally, I think this should be the climax of the Y550 games!]
[In trying to censor this one, a friend suggested I use a much
friendlier term. I present to you, Blufest!] One man or woman may volunteer to host a ['Blufest'] on him or herself,
during a timeframe of their choosing. At that point, anybody who wants
to have sex with them can, in whatever way they wish. No holds barred
aside from the obvious 'no-harm' limits.
