Your plea for allies

Dear Sapience,
Caution: long posts ahead! Orgy-crazed, short attention-plagued
forestals should not proceed!
Dear Rangor,
You bring an interesting gimmick of a strategy to the war between our
two Cities: one of an open call to arms, masked in humility, and
targeted to any and all who would have so much as a web tattoo
regardless of their intellectual or moral compass relative to your
ideals.
I also must confess, since its bleedingly obvious that your view of
Nature is much more about you than the greater good of Nature (or else
you may do something other than kill Mhaldorian marks and guards on
occasion for laughs). You allying yourself with any and every dog minded
mongrel that decides to take up arms against Mhaldor is a brilliant
approach with a chess-like precision and logic.
I particularly applaud your shameful admittance of the Lords opening you
to Truth, as I too would be ashamed if the Gods' of my sworn enemies had
opened me to a Truth as elementary as "Those who wield power must use it
wisely" after my own divine leaders had failed to do so for well over 2
centuries. On a completely unrelated note, does Lady Artemis' order have
any openings for a forest enemied Mhaldorian Sentinel? It sounds like
such an invigorating experience ripe with culture and depth in light of
your new realizations! Maybe Her cohort could teach me about such
mysteries as to why I shouldn't attempt to shoot arrows into my own feet
or start attacking random Hashani because 'Ahm anggggwweeeeee'.
We could even sit together in the (newly crispy, thanks to Tali) woods
and read Sevelan de Vermiis' breakthrough research journal, 'Rangor and
you: An objective analysis of how the brain of a prepubescent teen was
suddenly trapped in a 258 year old forestal body'. I think we'll find
the chapter on public speech (which you are a master of) fascinating!
All joking aside, please let me know the status of the position in
Artemis' Order, I look forward to learning more with you about the
mysteries of life, and I am gratified that, even though youre 250 years
late, you have finally begun your journey.
One more joke does need to be cracked upon the heads of any innocents
who stumbled across your post and don't understand the ramifications of
allying with Eleusis.
Ironically I have found recently that outside of humor, actions speak
louder than words so I will leave the idle threats of blood and gore for
the battlefield to anyone who does choose to ally with you.
Those who do make this choice must know that when historically observing
the last major events involving Mhaldor and Eleusis, Eleusis has made a
dire diplomatic mistake in placing their noses elegantly up the bum of
Shallam. They were at each other's side during the Shala Khulia
conflict, Eleusis' icon defense, Mhaldor's icon offense, mutual
defiling/sanctifying, Shallamese raid defense along with Eleusian, and
other conflicts which are far too numerous to be listed.
In all seriousness, I might applaud the diplomatic effort of Rangor, but
as I stated, you made a dire mistake in aligning your city so close with
Shallam, in not even most, but ALL of the previous conflicts between us.
Now every possible ally to Nature will have to take into account that
they will be de facto Shallamese associates and sympathizers: thus there
is a huge fallacy in requesting the help of the Ashtani and the Hashani
in the fight for Nature (read: Mhaldor stepping up to keep Oakstone
bullies in line, as Evil sees an obvious necessity that Nature exists
for all of Sapience and we do not seek its destruction). Though it is in
the rights of both Hashan and Ashtan to ally with you, I trust and
respect their judgment (enough not to mindlessly rampage their
guards/citizens at least) and unless they take a confusing and
irrational turn toward the favor of Shallam, I predict you will find
them at best neutral to your cause (Eleusis/Shallam tag team) due to
your poor decisions that eventually alienated (by your own admittance)
what you see as possible allies in Ashtan and Hashan.
Choice and responsibility are interesting things, and the fact that you
just discovered their relationship unfortunately doesn't negate your
past diplomatic actions that quite possibly may undermine your current
ones in a most, I must say, deliciously ironic way.
Not to be cliche, but I must end our discourse in another Truth you may
need to come to realize via our Twin Lords: Weakness must be eliminated
in all the three forms that exist within us: Physical and Spiritual.
Oh and Mental too!
Good luck Rang!
