Champion of the Ivory, I will say I find it amusing that you find it
necessary to insult not only the Swiftblade but the great city of Ashtan
so shortly after calling out the Swiftblade for his own words, which you
apparently found offensive. You might like to watch your words a bit
more carefully in the future, lest you find yourself with even more
enemies.

You speak of a few confused individuals finding a place within your
ranks and believe they are enough to change the fate of the Ivory Mark?
Good riddance. They were likely useless and apparently not making enough
gold with their work to satisfy themselves. Know, however, that our
numbers are great. You have not seen the faces of every Quisalis, nor
have I, and most likely never will. Our work is often shrouded. It is
more successful that way.

Know also that while your work is useless and unappreciated, ours brings
us precisely what we need, gold and the fear of all who would oppose us.
These bring with them power, and power allows one to chase their
desires, whatever they might be. Fighting to "Champion the weak" merely
allows for the weak to grow weaker, for the strong to grow stronger, and
for the continuation of the false belief that strength and weakness
actually matter.

So you've met the Blood Maiden? Good, I have had similar conversations
with your friends in your tower, though it was difficult for them to
speak as they were gasping for breath, with my whip wrapped tightly
around their necks.

Know lastly, that I do not speak on behalf of the Quisalis Mark, only as
one Assassin of many. However, I'm sure you will meet many more soon
enough, though not necessarily in the manner you might wish to meet
them.

May your "honour" be your death.
