With the increase in hate-mongering being spread against those deemed
heretics by the Church, and the apparent attempt to re-ignite the
burning times by the Arch Prelate, Ashtan once again offers asylum to
those hunted by the zealots of the Light and Righteousness. Those who
are not currently enemies of the Bastion that are being persecuted by
the Church may find safe haven within the walls of the city. It is
regrettable that the tide of history has begun to repeat itself and that
such charity is necessary, but the hope of enlightenment touching the
clouded eyes of those gripped in the fervour of the Church's madness
remains with us. May we all live long enough to hear those voices
proclaim their understanding as it embraces them fully.
