Darkwalkers in Shallam

First, I would like to apologize to Hamel. I'm afraid I missed asking
him to leave the city when your group entered Shallam and he was killed
without being warned to leave. His enemy status has been rectified.
I know not why a large number of Darkwalkers would wish to come to the
Basilica, however it has been a law that no Darkwalker be within
Shallam's walls for a number of years. By my accounting, you were given
at least a minute and a half, if not more, from the time you were told
to leave Shallam to the time guards arrived to kill you. Shallam does
not allow a number of people within its walls, including members a few
classes, houses and orders. In my time as a Vizier, I've never seen a
large number of people from one of these organizations within Shallam's
walls without them meaning harm. Likewise, I've never seen any who did
not mean any harm, refuse to leave when asked.
To me, this seems like some elaborate Darkwalker ploy to rally Hashan
around a few "innocent" citizens being killed by the "murderers" in
Shallam. I expect you knew full well that Darkwalkers were not welcome
within Shallam. I expect you knew full well that you would be asked to
leave. I expect you all had absoultely no intention of fighting back
although you knew you would be enemied. I'm sure it will make great news
for you to try to manipulate those in your city with.
I suppose manipulation and darkness is for some people. I much prefer
being completely honest and open with my city and confident that they
will accept my opinions and side with me when needed.
