While public announcements of secret plans can be wretchedly rude, at
times circumstance requires recognition of superlative effort.

The Church and its hangers-on have been saving their sovereigns, and are
planning to use this gold in a mass defiling campaign. While you are no
doubt aware that this strategy has been attempted before, the upcoming
assault will be unprecedented both in scope and in monies expended. In
so doing, they grant us a nearly unprecedented gift: the opportunity to
demonstrate the futility of the Light's most organized endeavours.

(As an aside, thieves may be interested in this notion of wealthy Church
members walking the land.)

I therefore congratulate those who are so wealthy that they are willing
to fund the slaughter of their friends and loved ones. The servants of
Evil will await your fellows on the battlefield, and we will bathe in
the holy blood for which you have paid in full.
