A Question

cast hailstorm and Greetings Father Wulfen,
As you know I hold a great deal of respect for you as well as a few of
your fellow citymates, including Father Ranzou and Herenicus. However I
come before you today as a citizen of Ashtan and a member of Lord
Matsuhama's Order.
The issue that I seek to discuss involves one, Ainly Anderes, a new ally
of Mhaldor. Upon seeking his blood as I will do relentlessly I was
warned should I attack him in Mhaldor I will be enemied. Being a learned
and intelligent man such as yourself, I feel it safe to say you can
relate to my situation as should someone seek to hinder or harm your
aims or goals, you would ensure their death by any means. As such I must
say with the utmost respect, if you continue to harbor the traitorous
coward Ainly, whom disrespects my Brothers of Combat by teaming them
with other cowards who flee to the Wilderness when confronted with a one
on one fight. Then I must apologize but I can not allow this cretin
solace anywhere, not even the city of Mhaldor. Know that his death by my
hand no matter where he hides is not an attack upon you nor your fine
citizens. But on a scoundrel who deserves not the safety of Mhaldor.
Cast him out so I may teach him the values of respect, humility, and the
bitter taste of defeat which is the only end to the path he walks and I
shall not have to bring violence against him within Mhaldor. I know that
Mhaldor and Ashtan have had talks of alliance, however harboring Ashtani
enemies is not the way to achieve this end.
Respectfully,
Jago Verasall
;I await your reply before I make my next move, Father Wulfen.
Penned by my hand on the 24th of Daedalan, in the year 397 AF.
