Request for assistance in search for Theran survivors

Hello everyone,

As part of an effort to heal the grevious wound dealt to
Thera, Shallam is working to coordinate an effort to search
for any surviving Therans.

I realize that the Therans did not return in the normal way
that we have come to expect villagers to do after they die
and are restored to life by Sarapis, i.e., they are not
in Thera. It is possible that they were not restored to life
by Sarapis, and that there are simply no Therans, save Enfrin,
that remain. One corpse has been recovered, that of Mayor
Ariel. It was in poor condition, and attempts to restore
her to life failed. Her body was subsequently buried and she
is mourned by those who loved her.

Given that no other Theran corpses were found, though, it is
equally possible that they either fled the area before or as
the meteors rained down, or that they were killed in the
destruction and were restored to life by Sarapis but have
chosen not to return to the ruins of Thera and are now
refugees in other locations in Sapience.

What follows is a post from the Shallam newsboard, describing
the basic strategy for the search. Any individual wishing to
be involved on a formal basis should contact Sylvia. Even if
not involved on a formal basis, if any of you discover any Therans
or evidence of their fate by happenstance, if you could relay
the information to Sylvia it would be immensely helpful.

Thanks very much,

Solar Stormcrow

Subj: Theran Search

I'm currently accepting volunteers who would like to help in the search
for any Therans who may have gone into hiding.

I would like this search to be thorough. It's more important to search
one area completely than to search three or four half-heartedly and with
minimum effort. To facilitate this there are two points I'd like to
touch on as the most important during this search.

1. Speak with any denizens who may live in the area using both tells and
says. Did they see any strangers (Therans) in the area about 11 months
ago? Any lost children? Had they heard what happened to Thera?

2. Search each area thoroughly, preferably with a map, and look for
anything unusual.

Please send me a message or a tell while you're in the lands so I can
assign a couple areas I would like you to focus on and to determine if
you have any preferences. After you've volunteered and spoken with me, I
would also like you to message me after a completed search, telling me
whether or not you spoke to the denizens there, and if there was
anything unusual that should be noted.

Again, if you would like to assist in this search, please message me.
