Today I write of a step forward in Vertani relations with your
peoples, another indication of the slow but growing understanding
that shall doubtless end in the glorious union of Vertani and non-
Vertani alike across this plane.

Ixidor, a priest, we now name Friend of the Vertani.

Through various discussions Ixidor has demonstrated a keen mind
and clear understanding of our ways, while explaining his ways, and
the ways of his Guild and City, to us.

We have much common ground, and much to build upon. Ixidor wishes to
act in furtherance of this goal - that we might all understand and
come to warmer relations between our peoples.

The name "Friend of the Vertani" is more of an accolade than a
job title, more an expression of regard than a rank or position.

We look forward to the day when all here bear this title. Yes, even
those from cities who have brutally killed our people and heartlessly
destroyed the hopes and futures of countless lives of ours and our
allies.

In recent months, the killing has slowed dramatically, clearly
showing the effectiveness of our security forces, and the resolve
of the Vertani and our stout allies.

Let peace reign, here, and let us all be a part of that process.
Come, follow the footsteps of Ixidor, and join with us in forging a
new, peaceful approach for all our peoples!
