annexation?

I agree with most of your points, however one point disturbed me.

Having reservations in consideration of armies entering the plane we
live on, of a nation we know very little about and has already taken
such an active role in Sapientic politics, of people whose motives we
don't understand but seem willing to assert their ideals at high costs,
is justified.

Calling their military presence in el'Jazira and Tasur'ke 'annexations'
isn't just unjustified, but an insult to the population of said
villages. Those people have a free will, those people have invited the
Vertani to come to their villages (with good reasons), and I've not
heard a negative word about the Vertani presence in their villages from
a single inhabitant. If anybody should have the right to claim their
home was annexed, it would be those people.

(I do not claim to know what every single villager thinks, but the
public posts by Jardon, the Tasur'ke Elder and what I heard from
Constantine as we talked shortly after the Vertani came to Tasur'ke,
seemed quite clear in this respect.)

Good day,
Iocun
