Because of some business, Mausolus was called upon to swear before the
gods concerning the truth of a certain matter. But he said, "A warrior's
word is harder that metal. Since I have impressed this fact upon myself,
what more can the gods and immortals do?" and the swearing was
cancelled.

Be of sound virtue, and never stand being questioned of it.
