Greetings Achaeans,
Although I rarely view these boards I did spot something of peculiar
interest just this day. The post was one composed by Landon. There was
nothing wrong with this post of his, yet there are things I fail to
really understand within it. So with this I ask a few simple questions
of him and offer some advice from the depths of my blackened heart.
If combat is a learning experience for you, Landon, just what do you
learn from 'teaming'? What do you learn from the excessive use of a
commonly known - and abused - 'cheap' ability? Nothing! Especially when
this teaming is not planned or thought through, yet a vivid display of
weakness proving to your opponent you can either not beat them alone or
are too scared to try. How is this learning, Landon? Would not learning
require the acknowledgement - and perhaps use - of something different?
Aye, I would think so.
Perhaps you should take the time from your 'busy' schedule to truly
learn the ways of a combatant. In other words; win upon your own merits.
I'm certain it will be more enjoyable for you and such a display would
help to ease the widespread discouragement within young combatants these
days. However do not think I am blaming only you for such lacking
interest, there are others.
I tip my hat to the creative and skilled warriors of these lands and if
any of you wish to engage in spars of the ranked kind, do let me know.
Death bless,
Mortifer Merre.
