You know, I can't think of the number of times I've sat down to a good
war story and read the line "Though the invading horde of monsters were
repelled, the victory for the civilized society was lessened by the
dirty underhanded tactics they used to win". This could possibly be
because it will never happen. For one reason the victors write the
history of the events. And for second, expecting in the chaos of war for
everyone to pair off and have a nice, civilized fight is ridiculous.

One last thought to leave you with. In combat, no amount of training
will help you carry the day if you don't first go about things
intelligently. If you go into combat thinking its you against the world,
then that is what you will have. Why don't you go and think of a
strategy to defeat their strategy? Your weapons are not limited to
things you carry with you. Allies are just as powerful a tool for you to
use on the battlefield as a sword.
