Citizens of Sapience:
The audacity of mortals to judge one another in areas they have no
business judging never ceases to amaze Me. The reason for Silverfox's
punishment for overharvesting, as I explained to him several times as he
badgered and pestered Me for almost a day to overturn the decision of
the Hierophants, is simple: the Hierophants have absolutely no way to
tell when Silverfox stopped harvesting in that section of the jungle. It
might have been at 30 kola, like he claims, or it might have been at 4
kola, which is an overharvest. When two persons are harvesting in the
same room, it only counts the last person to harvest, when both parties
could have, in reality, committed the crime of overharvesting. Oakstone
has always held both parties in this situation liable for the
overharvesting, you need only ask those who have been so affected by the
decision.
As Torment has pointed out, this is not the first time Silverfox has
been involved in an overharvesting incident. It is his third such
offense in ten years. His enemy status is not for this singular
situation, but rather, for a string of like situations, as is mandated
by the Oakstone Charter. I would think as a former Fion, Morkael, you
would understand the laws of Oakstone better than that.
Many fond regards,
