Diplomacy

Now I understand Mhaldor is a little sick and tired of being under the
Sapience wide pile on that they've been under for quite a while
now...but it mystifies me why anyone can actually read the posts that
come out and actually believe that someone might be swayed by what
anyone says about Mhaldor being the lesser of the evils. Should Eleusis
listen? Lets see...how long ago was it that Lord Sartan and the
Mhaldorians were threatening the red fog bomb on the forests? How about
Cyrene? Think they've forgotten the hunt on the Phaestian shrines?
Ashtan? Well they tend to hold a grudge when you kidnap their Matron's
son and almost kill Him. That leaves Hashan who's current Matron was
severely maimed by Sartan in His attempt to call forth a nightmare army
to wage war on the Garden. Gee, I can't imagine why pointing to history
isn't getting flocks of converted to go against Shallam and the Church.

Here's a thought, and I know its a crazy one but then I'm a crazy,
senile man at this point. Why not try diplomacy for once? Instead of
throwing nasty insults at people that you want to be your friends...how
about, oh I don't know, helping them out from time to time. Building
bridges instead of in an impressive display of fireworks, blowing them
up. Yes I know that goes against the grain of what comes naturally. You
know, threatening all out war on anyone who doesn't see things your way.
But its an idea thats just crazy enough to work from time to time. Or
even better, you can adapt the strategy the Church has. Which is be
quiet and letting your enemy screw up so much that everyone turns
against them.

Kryvar (Who can't believe he just posted in support of the Church)

Penned by my hand on the 9th of Sarapin, in the year 339 AF.
