Grove shortage

First I would like to state that the matter that I will be addressing in
this post is something I feel is important, and needs to be
aknowledgedby the groups who it directly affects: namely, the Druids and
the Sylvans. In my old age, I have become rather... pragmatic with my
gold, and to use this gold today, in a public post, is a testament to my
feelings on the subject.
I'm writing to the leadership of these two forestal guilds, to Krel and
to Conor, to those below also in charge of policy and change, to ask
them to rethink their practice of letting their novices imprint groves.
I do not know much about the Sylvans, as my soul was asleep when they
came into existance, but I do know that I've seen more Ward of the Oak
groves than I've seen groves of those with druid class.
With an already seeming shortage on such herbs as bloodroot, kola, moss
and valerian (I refer to it as a shortage due to the increase in prices
that I've seen since my soul has returned), it would be terrible to let
the state of other such herbs, found in the forest, to become rare as
well. Some people might laugh, as it is quite apparent that there are
many, many forestal rooms. But to walk about the forests these days, and
to find an empty room that has not been imprinted is rare indeed. I
wandered for nearly two days, as I was short on myrrh, elm, and ginseng,
and had quite a problem scraping up enough to get by.
I understand that it would seem unfair to refuse these small ones their
rights to one of their skillsets, to ask them to consider joining a
guild whose skills they have no fully tasted, but if this problem
continues (as it has, for this has been in discussion since I still
remained within the druid guild), I'm afraid we'll be looking at higher
scarcity of important forestal herbs, leading in, as always, a dramatic
increase in Oakstone minimum prices.
Harvesting is a privledge. It takes great responsibility to Nature, and
to one's self to remain modest with herb gatherings, and to adhere to
certain obligations set down by the Higher Powers. But a grove is a
privledge too. And with the influx of new souls that come, imprint, and
then are never heard of again have no duty or responsibility to said
groves, and they are left empty, unattended and untended, until another
one comes to claim it.
Again, I'd like to ask Krel and Conor, and the members within their
guilds to please take this to mind. This does not only affect myself,
but other rogues, Druids and Sylvans alike. In the end, it affects the
whole of Sapience.
Thank you for your time.
