About the Church

Neko -

I found your post to be, well, funny, to be honest. Though poorly
thought out. You speak but with one view, and that is Mhaldors. I don't
much care for wasting the gold on this, but I'd like to point out a few
flaws in your thinking.

Firstly - Let me just say I am not of the Church. But, many of their
policies I agree with, though certainly not all. You say that they are
against Chaos? How little you know. Yes, they do not much like Chaos.
But that is not why the Church and Shallam banned it. They banned it
because of the taint. Since, with Mithraea's ascension, that was
removed, their whole policy is being rethought. And even should they
decide against Chaos, that is as a whole, as it can not be known, nor
controlled. And as far as those who serve Chaos, how are we worse then
you? Good, Evil? Both are controlled, definite. Chaos dislikes both. So
they help or oppose as they choose. Leave them to that, as their
alliances likely shall shift in time, as is the norm for Chaos.
Second - You speak of Hashan, and Darkness? Again, why should they help
you? The one thing I can say about evil, is that it at least is honest.
Honest in hating the Church and Shallam. But Darkness is not. So, how
can you say that they side with us? Who may know there true intentions?
Third - Cyrene. You speak as if it is no longer a city, and has become
merely a satellite Shallam. You fail to see the actuality as it goes
against your very beliefs. We have joined in something of an alliance so
as to become something more then we were seperately. In unity, we
believe, lies strength.
Lastly - You speak of Eleusis? Yes, it is young. And also home to some
of the most dangerous fighters in Sapience. As their morals and ideals
do not conflict with Shallam's, or the Church's, somehow, I tend to
doubt that there will ever be war between the two. Reason that however
you will.

I mean no disrespect in this, Neko. I merely state that which you may
have not seen or thought about.
