Your opinion of Cyrene

A few little responses to your 'southern churchie outpost' comment...
1) You used to be a citizen of Cyrene, and a loyal Warden. You even
gave my brother Kerianas his final novice interview,
so obviously you did not think these things at the time.
2) Since you brought up the War of the Child to try to convince
Ashtan you are right, I seem to remember that Cyrene gave much
help to Eris's cause, unlike Shallam. If we are their 'outpost',
why would we have done that?
3) There have been many conflicts involving Shallam that
Cyrene has not aided them in. Our founders, despite being
Elysian, sought to make Cyrene something different.
4) You recently spent some time in Cyrene shopping. Tell me,
can you do that in Shallam?
While it is true Cyrene will tend to side with Shallam in
most matters, we by no means as a city completly agree with
them and their actions. And as long as Mhaldor takes no
action against Cyrene, we do not get a large party together
to raid Mhaldor.
Please do not attempt to coerce Cyrene to ally itself
with anyone or against anyone. You will not be successful.
