Mortal thought and irritating behavior

What follows is a brief summary on some common irritating behavior here
in Achaea, how it can be explained in terms of fundamental logic, and
using the insights which result from this analysis to better resolve
such issues in the future.

Part 1: A young novice shouts: Who killed the imp lord!!!???!!

Explaining the commonality of this is needless - everyones seen it. It
is a recurrence so real it is embedded as a part of culture, often
resulting in competitiveness on the most witty sarcastic replies. Why
such a childish reaction? Generally novices have very few options in the
way of success and the frustration they feel when something goes wrong
becomes a personal assault onto themselves. Instead of looking at other
possible motives they either assume the imp lord/pixie queen/etc was
killed simply to annoy players like themselves (an angry reaction), or
else they assume that somebody is simply too stupid to realize the
'great value' of the quest party (belittling reaction). They feel that
by shouting they may either confront this 'personal assault' or else
inform the 'stupid person' why they shouldnt kill quest mobs, perhaps
expecting experienced players to offer up support. Typically this serves
for humor to the older players, and their reactions compound the
frustration of the novice - the trauma from the words of these (wo)men
could result occasionly on splendid displays of immaturity by the little
warrior - great for laughs!

Part 2: Public posts and the horrific 'whining for sympathy and
retribution syndrome'

Example: I, Mr. Exaggeration, write this message to alert all the
sapience of the rude treatment of the city of Shallam and specifically
the vile Mistah Fuzz. He asked me to leave because (insert
exaggerations, delusions and the like here) and feel that (insert
possible response from said villains city-state, other people and blah).

This really irks me - alright im not sounding really scientific anymore
but come on...it just doesnt belong on the public boards. Back to the
essay....

Such a reaction is usually very personal - somebody is angry, something
happened that made them feel dumb/insulted/powerless/etc. In a more
general sense my own opinion is that powerlessness is the biggest factor
in such a case, hence the urge to seek support from others. The
expectations for such a cause can range from embarassment, consequences
from members of guild/city/order, or assurance the said situation will
never occur again. Motivation is there, however the cause and effect is
greatly misguided. Typically such posts involve very little thought as
they stem from primal emotions, and the typical responses add further
embarassment onto the snitching cry baby.

Part 3: Extensively long posts which serve no purpose and will likely
never be read

Hey thats this post! Well i put a wee of effort into this little piece
of work, aimed mainly for some insightful humour. Referring future
offendors to this post may prove to be funny, or else the common opinion
may be that this post is utter stupidity and should be disregarded
altogether. If you did enjoy it please provide feedback to myself if you
hate it or have specific problems with the format (rambling too much
etc) again feedback is great. If you did read this all the way through
thanks! - i love expressing my creativity from time to time and this is
no exception.
