Chaos Redux

Once again, the public forum has turned to discussing My Realm, which,
as usual, is very flattering. There is one small observation I'd like to
make regarding the current discussion. While the Ancient Mythos is
fascinating, mortals sometimes equate the Ancient Chaos with Present
Chaos. This is an error. I am, relatively speaking, a young divine and
wasn't present during the Chaos Wars when the Great Tyrant Lorielan
tried to usurp Creation. Chaos, as it is manifested in these present
times in Myself, has little to no bearing with the Chaos that manifested
during the Chaos Wars. Indeed, even the oft-quoted phrase of the Logos
that Chaos could destroy was stated by the Logos before I was born (not
to mention you can say that the realm of every god could potentially
destroy). If you wish to be credible in maligning Chaos as it exists
today, I suggest you attempt to look at Chaos as it has manifested since
My Birth.

I believe you will find that I've created the Great Erisian Pyramid
where Confusia lies, that I've ushered in magic mushrooms that take you
to Bopalopia (has anyone figured out if that's an actual place or a
hallucination?), that under My patronage Ashtan drove out Sartan and was
imprisoned by an alliance of gods of which I was a member (however
briefly that may have been), that I gave birth to Pandora who brought us
all laughter, that I oversaw the Occultists spurning the dark arts of
necromancy, and that together with Demeter we created the treekin. If
you find Confusia, Bopalopia, driving off Evil, giving birth to
laughter, rejecting necromancy, and the treekin to be anathema to your
ethos, by all means rage against Chaos as I have manifested it. But do
not blame Me for what Chaos may have been before I even existed.
