The Church

You know, it really is fascinating how contagious corruption really is.
Take as evidence the expanding list of people who are Bad or just
"tainted" by the various forces of Badness, according to the Church.
Sartan, you would expect, but then Twilight and Eris were added to the
list. Now Demeter, Valnurana, and Pandora... You start to wonder how
those poor Church members dare step outside without the dreaded Taint
being spread to them by conversation or careless sneezes from the Forces
of Badness (I'm still not clear on how exactly this is spread, but
apparently it's by close contact or conversation, judging from the
Church's anti-fraternization rules).
The poor things are just beset on all sides- the Forces of Badness,
thanks to the expanded Church list, now control 4 out of 5 of Shallam's
neighbors, 11 of the world's guilds (including the Apostates, I forgot
to include Lady Indrani on my previous list, but She's there too,
although I wonder why since the only thing She's done that is Bad is to
harm a Child the Church decided wasn't an innocent and therefore was ok
to harm)...Not to mention all those filthy Erisians and forestals
everywhere, spreading their contagion like a plague among the few
remaining unTainted.
My advice to the Church is that its members go to the Basilica and lock
themselves in, for their own protection, before they are overrun. It's
the only way to protect themselves from the hundreds of Tainted
everywhere in the world. Shallam has banned Chaos Lords in an effort to
make their own streets safer from the Taint, but as Shakti and Saruman
pointed out, this is cannot curb the tide entirely, for the Taint has
already spread among several other mortal races. Therefore, the Church
must lock itself away entirely before it is too late! The Church's goal
may be to fight and destroy the Taint, but let me reassure you that it
is not possible to fight the entire rest of the world and win, and that
is going to be the situation as the Taint continues to spread. Hide! Bar
your doors! Close the windows and shade them, stuff cloth in every
crack, lest the Taint find a way to seep in! Do it now, Light-lovers,
for the Taint is spreading day by day as new members join the Orders,
guilds, and cities of the Tainted with nary a thought of the
world-destroying force that they are supporting.
I call it like I see it,

PS. Do I sound bitter? Demeter and Valnurana are two of the most
level-headed, kind, compassionate Goddesses I know. Yet now They have
been added to the Church's growing list of Tainted realms that should be
shunned and eliminated. I am particularly sickened by this condemnation
of Nature by those who I have been repeatedly told are historical forest
allies.
