Shallamese Law

Greetings. This post is to make public some of the changes recently made
to Shallamese law.
1 - There will no longer be any violence allowed in Shallam against
peaceful visitors. This means that unless someone is a city enemy,
breaking a law of Shallam, or helping to hurt Shallam, they will not be
attacked in the city. This does not mean that you can take sanctuary in
Shallam from your enemies every day if you're not a citizen. We have
taken this step to make our city a safer place for those who have done
no wrong against the city. Please contact the Minister of Security or a
Vizier if you feel this protection is being abused by someone.
2 - The city will remain free of Chaos Lords and Ladies, as has been the
case with other Occultist and Apostate entities. Shallam stands against
Chaos, and is continuing its policy of keeping the city clear of chaotic
entities.
3 - Shallam is also continuing the work of protecting its sister city.
Anyone caught murdering or committing other crimes against the citizens
of Jaru will be enemied to Shallam. These villagers are good people with
strong historical links to Shallam, and we will protect them.
There will not be armies of lookouts sweeping the streets of Shallam and
Jaru for violators of the law, ready to kill at a moment's notice. Some
people prefer not to submerge themselves in the madness of this news
board, and others may never know about these laws. Under normal
circumstances, offenders will be given ample warning and notified of the
consequences of breaking our law. The enforcement of the last two laws
will begin on the first of Sarapin, 329 AF. If you have questions,
comments, or suggestions about these laws, the most tempting thing to do
will probably be to post a reply on this board. The most effective thing
to do would be to contact a member of the government. Thank you for your
time,
