Rites of Prayer

Fellow Achaeans,
I regret to announce that a ban on Rites of Prayer hath been
announced until after Sarapin of next year. It has come to the
attention of the Church that many of those who do attend such Rites
do so for their own personal gain rather than for the intended
purpose of giving thanks to the Gods and this has been seen to
lead to conflict when there be a perceived interruption to the
Rite, even though I understand that circumstances do not always
result in an interruption.
It is my hope that members of the Church will continue to lead less
formal prayer meetings during the period of this ban. These will
be an opportunity for those of thee who attend Rites for the right
reasons to continue to show thy respect to the Gods.
For those of thee that were expecting to attend a Rite held by
Zeddicus at about the time this ban came into force, I wouldst
have thee know that Zeddicus didst request to be permitted to
fulfil his offer and conduct this Rite but was denied his request.
Zeddicus should not be held responsible for this.
In the Name of Light, may Lord Pentharian bless us.
Sir Viran Brightguard, Grand Champion of the Innocent, Knight of the
Elysian Order, Justiciar Prelate and Quinti of the Holy Church of
Achaea.
Penned by my hand on the 2nd of Aeguary, in the year 324 AF.
