Someone far wiser and more repsected than myself once said...

War is a horror beyond imagination, Andreous. We train our entire lives
for the possibility of war and are perhaps one of the least loving of
the reality of war than those who normally see war as simply an
abstract. On the field of battles often you can see those who call
themselves knights bolt from the fray while the youngest squire may take
up a sword and perform well. During these trying times those who hold up
all four pillars of our ethos should be commended, but the reality of
war is that life is precious and should be held dear. In war we fight to
win and to survive, thus when a formal war is declared, the Warden and
his Keepers' adherence to the strict code we rely on to strengthen us is
removed till peace or truce is called... then once again we must atone
to ourselves for our breaking from traditions.
