Enemying of Belarius

Addressing issues of 'why was this guy enemied' on the public forum just
makes people angry, and makes it less likely that person will ever be
unenemied, whether or not it was deserved. As to this particular
instance - it was deserved. A group of a couple folk came into Shallam
and started yelling something like "Let's hear it for Discordia!" "Not
loud enough from the back, let me hear you yell ERIS!" or something like
that. If you want to counter the impression among some people that many
students of chaos are not much more than a bunch of annoying
cheerleaders, devoid of any actual intelligence, I would not recommend
acting like a bunch of annoying cheerleaders, devoid of any actual
intelligence. I'm sure you're all capable of making reasoned arguments
in favor of chaos, those would be more interesting to hear then empty
yells of "Eris!" over and over. A vizier made the request to stop
yelling, because clearly this group was accomplishing nothing and
causing pain in the eardrums, and they were ignored. Novice or no
novice, Belarius was being loud and continued on past this warning. It
was truly a disruption of the peace, a clear-cut case where enemying was
needed. No manipulation of the facts can change them.
Grey
PS - There is no need for this debate to drag on and on in a series of
public posts. If you have a point to make it would be many times more
effective to speak personally to a vizier or the Minister of Security in
Shallam than wasting gold, like I just have.
Penned by my hand on the 12th of Daedalan, in the year 317 AF.
