Shallam

Indeed Eris is not the only Divine figure forbidden in Shallam. If you
will pay a visit to Shallam's lovely pinnacle of all they stand for, you
will find totems tuned AGAINST members of the orders of Eris, Sartan,
and Twilight. Imagine my surprise when I enter into their Basilica,
seeking to be enlighted by their Good and Righteous ways, when all of a
sudden, I'm hit with a totem that transfixes, paralyzes, gives voyria,
and puts me to sleep. If you can't wake in time to cure the voyria, oh
well! After all, a minion of Chaos, Evil, or Darkness is SURELY only
there to cause trouble. Of course they couldn't possibly seek to atone
for their `sins`, or seek the holy rooms of the Basilica to cleanse
themselves. Sorry buddy, if you're Erisian, Sartanite, or Twilighter,
not only are you not welcome in our Basilica, but we're going to watch
your every move, and if you take one wrong step, BOOM! End of the line
for you.

It's the same reason Occultists aren't allowed to have their entities in
Shallam, but Sentinels are. Surely Occultists with their entities are
only in Shallam for one reason: to go on a killing spree and attack
Shallamites with their entities. Nevermind the fact that most of them
walk the long Prelatorian Highway and seek just a little more protection
against getting jumped (Now who on Sapience would ever jump and
team...). I've got news for you, Shallam. Most of the Occultists aren't
stupid enough to attack you in your own city. Those that are, enemy
them. At least it'd be a REAL reason to enemy. I often come into Shallam
with my pathfinder in tow because I'm too lazy to walk all the way back
to Hashan or Ashtan or wherever it is I need to be. It's not because I'm
going to scuttle in, kill somebody, and then pathfinder home before you
can mind sense me and see I was in Shallam. Use some common sense for
once. It might help you.
