Another Time, the Same Old Story

At the beginning there were neither dark nor light
Neither colors, even the dark didn't exist as a color
No transparency, no air, nothing above nor below

Whatever was and ever will be
Was incapable of knowing all it was
As it was all, and all is nothing

Feelings, misery, happiness, pain, pleasure
Nothing

There was no imbalance
There was no cycle, no birth, no death

As for something to be born, something needs to die

Even peace was not

There were no stars, no heat, no cold
No imbalance, no movement

And for eons this was sufficient
And for eons it's all it will be

A dreaming god of eternity

But as all good stories start
One day a spark arose, a desire
Of knowing - what am I?
What could it be?
What is it to know?

A dream

And the nature of this dream is Love
And Love serves the Will
And the Will to know leads to imbalance
Imbalance leads to distortion
And gravity

Some say this was the ever-living Chaos
Indomitable, heating, destroyer
Born from the sacrifice of the eternal god

But soon Chaos became order
As the first Sun began saying:
"I Will shine no matter what"
"I Will impose gravity and imbalance"
"I Will shine even to the blind"
"I Will impose change in the matter"

Even this spark of desire could not be handled
As a vessel of the ever-dreaming god
And it shattered into a million sparks of the same essence

They started to dance... like the wings of a flame bird
And flew through the void that came from birth

The dance imploded, and expanded
Until it became the constellations of stars
Forming the eyes that see

The ever-wondering dance
Wandering the dreams
Of a ever-dreaming god

When these eyes fall into the void and the flames consume
And Love and Havoc blend without differing from each other
A sparking flame of order - of an eternal dream of a dreaming god
Spawns a new sun to rise in warmth and comfort

As the nature of this dream is Love
And Love serves the Will
And the Will to know leads to imbalance
And imbalance finds Order
