A Plea

A secret I have yet to share
O Lady that is bright and fair
One for whom I truly care
But how will my proposals fare?

I shall confess my mind is pure
You are beautiful to be sure
Here my pen exceeds my speech
Beyond my words your splendor reach

Be my world, and my love too
I wish the night to be true
As a person you sparkle, and shine
I hope you will be my Selentine

Penned by my hand on the 21st of Mayan, in the year 453 AF.
