Poetry News Post #2214

a short poem and a few haiku

Written by: Philharmonic Peladoris, Prima Harpa of the Orchestra
Date: Tuesday, December 7th, 2004
Addressed to: Everyone

It is not satisfying
To see those you love and respect
At odds with each other

It is like waking as a young child
To the sound of your parents arguing.

Three Haiku for Winter:

The half moon shines bright
In the cold dawn of winter
Half gone with sunrise.

Snow dusts Cyrene's streets.
Merrilon is covered with
Balaia's footprints.

Your farewell is like
Wine on a summer's evening
Recalled in winter.

Penned by my hand on the 16th of Glacian, in the year 379 AF.
