Heaven in a Bag

You promised me an escape
You said it'd open a door
You said it'd lift me off the floor!
Of this world of hate

It's heaven in a bag
Is the promise that you gave
Instead it made me a slave!
And stranded me on a desolate crag

My soul was ripped asunder
My body left a shell
It opened the door to hell!
And filled my ears with thunder

You promised me my dreams
You said that it would deliever
You said you were a giver!
But more like a theif it seems

"You Liar!" I now retort
Please somebody save me
Look what you did to me!
No, wait, just one more snort

Argh! I don't really want this
I cry to be set free
I've hurt so many close to me!
And I now seek forgiveness...
