To all you pirates, sailors, explorers and other assorted landlubbers
alike,

I've created a new log to record some of the more pertinent things that
happen to ships that are owned by organisations (Cities, Houses, Orders,
Clans, Oakstone and the Church). To access these logs, some of you will
be able to use the command SHIPLOG or READSHIPLOG.

The syntax is the same as the other log reading commands like AMBLOG,
READLOG:
SHIPLOG/READSHIPLOG <ORG Name> [Line to Start At] [Number of days
previous]
e.g. 'SHIPLOG ashtan' to review today's ship logs for Ashtan
'SHIPLOG ashtan 0 1' to review yesterday's ship logs for Ashtan

The following is a list of the events currently logged to the SHIPLOG:
Crew wages changes
Food rations changes
Withdrawing gold from the ship's strongbox
Depositing gold in the ship's strongbox
Crew appointments, e.g. appointing people as captain/crewchiew/helm
A ship being sunk or salvaged
Food stores running low (if FOODWARN is enabled for the ship)
Gold level in strongbox running low (if WAGEWARN is enabled for the
ship)

Being able to see these logs will depend on criteria dependent upon the
organisation type. For Houses, members who are HR5 and above can access
the SHIPLOG, while for Cities, you must be either the Maritime minister
or an aide. For Orders and Clans however, if you can read the normal
organisation log, you can read the SHIPLOG. Church members of CR3 and
higher can access the SHIPLOG for the Church and all members of Oakstone
can read the SHIPLOG for Oakstone.
