Forgive this post, Lord Logos. I do not mean any disrespect but wish to ask a further question so that I might be educated in this matter for future reference.
I am a not a member of any city nor guild. Except for my order, I
have no political ties whatsoever. I am not protected by the treaty
between Ashtan Shallam and the Church nor am I bound by it. Should
someone decide to convocate me and attack me, would this invalidate
a treaty which has no relation to me at all? Two cites could then
possibly go to war because of something done to an outsider? If this
is true, what is the purpose of joining a city as one obviously is
protected with or without citizenship. This seems to make little
sense, if so. Is it merely because of poor wording in the writing of
the treaty?
